THE POSITION

Working as part of the maintenance team alongside millwrights and electricians, you will be performing cleaning, preventative maintenance and change-overs on food processing and packaging equipment.
Equipment includes pumps, motors, conveyors, and furnaces.
Experience working with hand-tools and power tools are a requirement, with some maintenance or operation experience of machines in a production environment.

This is a day shift – Monday to Friday from 6am to 3:30pm.

THE COMPENSATION

This position pays $32-$35 /hr to start, with competitive group benefits and pension contribution matching.

A large national food company with multiple locations in Ontario, this position is based in their Mississauga location. They have been in business for over 65 years and are continuing to grow their business.

Our client is a world-class food processor and they are looking for a maintenance supervisor to join their team.

This position is an afternoon shift and requires the ability to manage 4 trades people in the maintenance department at a satellite location. The work is hands-on 80% of the time and requires and electrical or millwright license. The right candidate will have experience maintaining and troubleshooting food production equipment including conveyors, packaging equipment, variable frequency drives and PLCs.

The position pays between $757k – $95k depending on previous experience, with overtime, benefits, company pension plan etc. This position is an afternoon shift.
