We are looking for a millwright/mechanic to investigate and solve problems with mechanical equipment.

The position offers
– a good working environment
– on-the-job training and support
– comprehensive medical, dental and insurance group benefits
– company pension plan.
The position pays between $65-75k to start based on experience, plus annual bonus.

The role will include disassembly of the equipment, investigative skills to determine issues and potential damage, fabrication and installation of new parts, reassembly and testing. While a 433A license is not required for the role, the experience is a huge benefit as the skills are transferrable. The company is supportive of staff working towards challenging this license.

Experience using machine shop tools such as mills, lathes and welding equipment is an asset, as is basic electrical knowledge.

This company builds and maintains high-end separation equipment used in a wide variety of industries – including portable desktop centrifuges to large room-scale applications. They employ field-service technicians who perform preventative maintenance and cleanings, while sending larger problems back to the Scarborough facility.
