Our client, a dry-food packaging expert, is looking for a mechanic to join their team and job-shadow their afternoon-shift maintenance supervisor.

The position requires someone with experience managing change-overs and set up of production lines, while performing routine maintenance and making all alterations required during the shift to keep production moving.

The right candidate for this position will be able to transiting from maintaining a single production line to working as a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor in the near future, supporting a team looking after a group of lines while also implementing continuous improvement projects and making sure that the goals of maintenance align with those of production.

The position starts at $28-34 /hr depending on previous experience. A millwright license or food industry experience are an asset, but are not required for the role.
