Our client is a major national food production facility looking for Industrial Automation Electricians in their Mississauga and Brampton locations.
The position offers a full-time maintenance role on day or night shifts paying $35+/hr with overtime available as requested. The role requires licensed 442A or 309A electricians with experience working in a manufacturing facility (food experience is an asset but not a requirement), and experience working with PLC PLC and SCADA systems including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
The right person for this company is someone who works well in teams with other electricians and millwrights, but can also take responsibility for lines and equipment on a per-project basis. Other duties include working alongside engineers on upgrades and continuous improvement, updating documentation and overseeing the start-up of electrical systems.
