Our client – a processing and production company with almost 100 years of history in Toronto – is looking for an enthusiastic Licensed Millwright to join their maintenance team.

This position involves working on maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades and installations of processing equipment such as pumps, centrifuges, griers, overhead cranes, and facility systems.

This is a straight morning shift with overtime available if requested. The position pays $41/hr alongside a benefit package and company pension. This is a union role with annual salary increases.

We are searching for a Service Technician for our client – a machine distribution company working in the food industry.

Work here involves arranging for shipping and receiving of machines from Europe, modifications and customization for North American clients and preparing all supporting documentation.
The role also provides after-sales support in the form of consumables sales, on-going maintenance contracts and service work – both on location and in the shop.

This position pays between $70-80k a year based on previous experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, but the company is open to someone looking to further their career here also.

Position: 433A Millwright:

Hold a valid 433A Millwright license.
Proven 5 plus years of hands-on experience in maintenance and repairing pump systems, piping, separation equipment, and overall machinery and facility maintenance.
Previous experience in heavy industries such as chemical processing, mining, or oil/gas is advantageous.
Background in heavy industries is a plus.

Food Machine Service Technician/Millwright – $34-38/hr – Toronto

Our client, a food machine distributor with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a Service Technician/Millwright for their food processing machines.

The ideal candidate wouldhave 3 to 5 years of experience servicing small-to-medium size industrial machines. Pay ranges from $34 to $38 per hour based on experience, with full benefits, a company service truck, credit card, and travel expenses covered.
Working hours are typically from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, unless visiting out-of-town clients.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair food processing machines
Read equipment manuals and blueprints
Provide excellent customer service
Travel to customer sites as needed
Prepare machines, parts and supplies for shipment
Use a computer to complete regulatory and transport forms

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience servicing machines
Millwright license preferred but not a requirement
Experience in the food industry is a strong bonus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Refrigeration HVAC Tech – $120k – Toronto

A great opportunity has opened up for a HVAC Mechanic to join our client – this is a union position that pays over $58/hr with exceptional benefits. You do not need to be a union member to apply for this role.

This company services commercial kitchens, restaurants and supermarkets across the GTA working on walk-in freezers, display fridges, refrigerated warehouse spaces and commercial HVAC equipment.
Previous experience working in this industry is an advantage but not required.

We are looking for either a licensed 313A mechanic, a 3rd-5th term apprentice would also be considered for the role. A gas Fitter 1 or 2 certification would be an asset.

Salary for the position would be at union rate – $120k+ for a licensed HVAC Mechanic and between $75-100k for an apprentice based on their level.
