We are searching for a Service Technician for our client – a machine distribution company working in the food industry.

Work here involves arranging for shipping and receiving of machines from Europe, modifications and customization for North American clients and preparing all supporting documentation.
The role also provides after-sales support in the form of consumables sales, on-going maintenance contracts and service work – both on location and in the shop.

This position pays between $70-80k a year based on previous experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, but the company is open to someone looking to further their career here also.
The position includes full benefits, and all transportation/travel expenses are covered for client visits and service work.

    Maintenance Technician – $75-95k – FILLED

    This successful and well-established metal products manufacturer is looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technician to join their team.

    This role will involve servicing existing equipment and dies, performing preventative maintenance, and working alongside co-workers and contractors on larger projects.

    The right person will have previous experience in a similar role, and a motivation to learn more about the operations of the business while dealing with vendors and suppliers, managing inventory, and keeping detailed maintenance records.

    This position does not require a 433A license. The salary starts between $75-95k based on prior experience, along with competitive benefits and long-term incentives.

      Seasonal Railway Labourer – Weekends – $21/hr – FILLED

      Our client is managing a commercial freight rail yard in Oakville and we have a team of labourers working each Winter season to clean and prep railway cars for new cargo. Because of the busy season we are adding a weekend shift.

      This position is 8 hour day shifts, Saturday and Sunday, until the end of March. it is NOT an on-call only position. The position pays $21 per hour.

      Previous experience working outdoors in the winter-time or working with construction, landscaping or similar roles is an asset.

        Food Machine Service Technician/Millwright – $34-38/hr – FILLED

        Our client, a food machine distributor with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a Service Technician/Millwright for their food processing machines.

        The ideal candidate wouldhave 3 to 5 years of experience servicing small-to-medium size industrial machines. Pay ranges from $34 to $38 per hour based on experience, with full benefits, a company service truck, credit card, and travel expenses covered.
        Working hours are typically from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, unless visiting out-of-town clients.

        Responsibilities:

        • Troubleshoot and repair food processing machines
        • Read equipment manuals and blueprints
        • Provide excellent customer service
        • Travel to customer sites as needed
        • Prepare machines, parts and supplies for shipment
        • Use a computer to complete regulatory and transport forms

        Requirements:

        • 3-5 years of experience servicing machines
        • Millwright license preferred but not a requirement
        • Experience in the food industry is a strong bonus
        • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
        • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
